About Me
After graduating from Northeastern University in 2004, I decided to follow in the great American tradition of donning an oversized backpack and traipsing around Europe until the savings ran out. For me, this lasted more than a few months, allowing me to explore a good chunk of Eastern Europe before returning home and settling down in New York City.
I soon took on an editorial position at Business Traveler magazine where I was able to learn about the other side of the travel industry—the one with lie-flat seats, luxury resorts and sumptuous spas. After a five-year tenure at the magazine, which ended in a position as senior editor, I decided it was time to explore new projects.
I invite you to come back and visit this site often, as I continue to add stamps to my passport, backpack optional.
